We reported last month that production is under way on Paramount's long-awaited sequel Zoolander 2, with stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson crashing the catwalk of Paris' Fashion Week to officially announce the project. With shooting now happening in Rome, Ben Stiller took to his Instagram page today to reveal a new photo from the set, which introduces Cyrus Arnold as his on-screen son, Derek Zoolander Jr. The character was actually revealed at the end of the original Zoolander, when he was just a baby, nearly 14 years ago.

Paramount has not released an official synopsis for Zoolander 2 quite yet, but we know that Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are returning as elite male models Derek Zoolander and Hansel, along with Christine Taylor as Derek's wife Matilda Jeffries. Will Ferrell is also expected to return as Mugatu, with Penélope Cruz joining the cast in an unspecified role. Production is scheduled to take place for 12 weeks in Rome, in and around Cinecittà Studios.

Ben Stiller is directing from a script by Justin Theroux, who was at one point attached to direct. Paramount has already set a February 12, 2016 release date, which puts the comedy sequel up against another long-awaited project, the superhero adaptation Deadpool, also currently in production. Take a look at the set photo below, and stay tuned for more on Zoolander 2 as production continues.
