Irish publication Belfast Telegraph recently spoke with actor Liam Neeson, who confirmed that Wrath of the Titans is the new title for the Clash of the Titans sequel.

Liam Neeson will reprise his role as Zeus. He said that the script for this mythological adventure is still being worked on, although they will start shooting next March:

"I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done - they're on script 10 - but I think it's going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it. We will start next March. I'm very much looking forward to it. It's a whole revamping, you know."

The actor added that he didn't know if the movie was going to be shot in 3D, although our report from July indicated they will shoot in 3D, as opposed to the maligned post-production conversion process which was used on Clash of the Titans.

We'll be sure to keep you posted with any Wrath of the Titans news as soon as we have more information.

Wrath of the Titans was released March 30th, 2012 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Édgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Danny Huston. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

Yeah, I'm so choked that Clash of the Titans made enough money to get a sequel, whereas Prince of Persia (which was a legitimately fun movie with franchise potential) basically bombed.

Daniel Day Lewis is a disgustingly good actor. He's gonna kill it in Lincoln, and Neeson is gonna kick himself.

I can't believe he's coming back for the sequel. All I could think about in the first one was how embarrassed he looked the whole time in his suit of shining armor.
@Dave Lincoln was the best role he was going to have, he's an idiot for turning that down then doing this.

@moviemaniac, totally agree, if Neeson is there, then so am I. And as for Clash of the Titans, I actually highly enjoyed the remake. I am looking forward to the sequel.

I will watch anything Liam neeson is in. I don't know why, but it does not matter how terrible the movie could be, Neeson always raises the good factor of a movie. And i also did not mind the first movie so much. It was decent at best.
