'Wonder Woman' Tanit Phoenix Audition Video

Diana Prince has a problem with her Wonder Woman doll's breast size in David E. Kelly's upcoming adaptation of the popular DC Comics superhero.

After all of the major television networks passed on David E. Kelley's proposed update of Wonder Woman, it was announced in late January that NBC was moving forward on the pilot. Soon after, the push to find a new Diana Prince was set into play.

Tanit Phoenix, last seen in the direct-to-DVD sequels Lost Boys: The Thirst and Death Race 2, was rumored to be in the lead for this highly coveted role, which the South African's reps confirmed to be true.

Today, audition video of Tanit Phoenix performing scenes from David E. Kelley's pilot script have gone online. In the clip below, you will see the actor acting out the role of Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, as she pretends to look over merchandise of her likeness. Let's just say she's not happy about her Wonder Woman doll's breast size, which will give you a good sense of the tone David E. Kelley is aiming for with this upcoming reimagining of the iconic character.

she was awful (or was it the dialogue?). i don't care what Kelly is shooting for (realism or whatever), but the fact that WW is sitting in a merchandising meeting for toys/dolls??? pass.

@Justhim_sir, I agree. And couldn't they actually get a toy that looked like a human figure at least. What the hell was that stand in prop anyway. It looked like a baby toy or something. Her acting was pretty awful too. I didn't even watch the whole thing. Nausea started to set in.

She seems fine for the role, but again, not my first choice. If this is the direction they're going with the show, then I'm not sold just yet.

She's cute and might fill out the costume but she's not Charisma Carpenter, so she doesn't get my vote.

Hmmm. Idk, I mean a new show could be good, but they are just trying to create a new Smallville. The movie should be the first priority, not a second TV series. That coulda came after.

Umm, not to be a prune, but what the hell did that audition have to do with WW? All I heard was boobs, marketing and presentation
