Although this has not been confirmed by Warner Bros., cinematographer Larry Fong has reportedly signed on to serve as director of photography on Man of Steel 2 (a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman). The news comes from Larry Fong's updated resume at Worldwide Production Agency, which lists the project as his latest feature.

Larry Fong previously worked with director Zack Snyder on 300, Watchmen and Sucker Punch. His other credits include Cape of Good Hope, Super 8 and this year's heist thriller Now You See Me. Amir Mokri (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) served as cinematographer on this summer's Man of Steel.

Zack Snyder is directing Man of Steel 2 from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent) are reprising their roles from the summer blockbuster, with Ben Affleck signing on last month to play Batman. It isn't known when production may begin.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes to theaters March 25th, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

Super 8 was beautifully shot, and in fact looks a lot the style chosen for Man of Steel.

@Zach-Chappelear Slow mo is the director's choice, not the cinematographer's.

Because the films he was noted for feature slow motion scenes that doesn't mean that it will become a signature of the Man of Steel series. He does, to his credit, shoot some beautiful scenes and captures breath taking angles. I welcome the addition.

@Zach-Chappelear I loved those films even Sucker Punch, I don't get the hate for that film. I still think Zack would be great for a D&D film.

@Zach-Chappelear I wouldn't worry about that. There was no slow mo in Super 8

I'm not certain I like this. All the slow mo of Watchmen and 300 doesn't seem fitting for Super Man

Hmmm. I liked the way MAN OF STEEL looked better than his other films so I hope they keep Amir Mokri, but Larry Fong is good too.
