Watch Patton Oswalt Pitch 'Star Wars 7' / 'Avengers' Crossover on 'Parks and Recreation'

The comedic actor kills off Chewbacca in this completely improvised 8-minute scene for a 'Star Wars' filibuster during a Pawnee City Council meeting.
Patton Oswalt guest stars on tomorrow night's episode of Parks and Recreation, "Article Two", which any fan of Star Wars and Marvel's The Avengers will surely want to watch. NBC has released an uncut 8-minute scene, where the actor plays a Pawnee citizen who tries to prevent a City Council vote by using a filibuster. In doing so, he breaks down his pitch for Star Wars: Episode VII, which includes crossovers with Marvel's The Avengers and several other franchises within the Marvel universe. What's even more impressive is this scene was completely improvised. Watch this impressive fanboy filibuster before tuning into Parks and Recreation Thursday, April 18 at 9 PM ET on NBC.

@superman81 It was supposed to be coming out but now im not so sure. Officially it is still moving forward but i have a feeling it might get scrapped or reworked into something else. Disney seems to be focused on creating new games focues on the JJ Abrams Star Wars as apposed to unmade television shows or past movies.

Brilliant. I love how you can hear Poehler asking if they should just leave and then everyone just walks out.

@superman81 I know. I was really hoping there would be a Battlefront III but I guess any hopes of that was shut down along with Lucas Arts game division.

@skywise he died in the series anyways so wouldn't surprise me if they kill him in the movie. What troubles me is how Disney totally obliterated Lucas Arts! I mean WTF Disney?!!
