David Dobkin is directing this drama about an attorney, who returns to his hometown to find out that his father is the lead suspect in his mother’s murder.

Full Metal Jacket's Vincent D'Onofrio has boarded David Dobkin's upcoming drama The Judge. We reported that Robert Duvall joined the cast on Tuesday.

Robert Downey Jr. stars as an attorney, who tries to solve the mystery surrounding his mother's death. Vincent D'Onofrio will be playing the role of the attorney's older brother with Robert Duvall playing his father.

David Dobkin is directing the project from a script by Nick Schenk. The director is also producing with Susan Downey and David Gambino.

Vincent D'Onofrio most recently appeared in The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman and will next be seen in Mikael Håfström's The Tomb starring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

No production schedule has been released.

The Judge was released October 10th, 2014 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Billy Bob Thornton, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jeremy Strong, Dax Shepard, Leighton Meester. The film is directed by David Dobkin.

    It's 25 years later, he's on t.v. about a hundred times a day, and we still cite Full Metal Jacket when referring to him. That's what I call staying power.
