Guess since the writers strike Jason Lee needs to make a fast buck to pay the rent!

What pisses me off is that studios will release some adolecenst CGI 80's Rip off BS Crap, that problably doesn't appeal to 97.9% of the movie going public everywhere & anywhere, but then they won't bother releasing other films (I live in Phoenix AZ) such as "The Kite Runner", "The Savages" nationwide, or even "Revolver directed by Guy Ritchie (been waiting 2 Yrs to see this) for some damn reason.
I'm sorry to burst some kids bubble, but way, way baaack in 1987 there was already a Chipmunk movie called "The Chipmunk Adventure" which was animated, & then other such movies through the 80's released directd to video (most out of print now)!!
Come on Hollywood & the powers that be, but release some other films nationwide besides the film you wnat to make a fast buck on, or make a "Blockbuster"!!!!
Some people don't have an interest in a Re-make of "I am Legend" or "The Chipmunk Movie"!!

Yeah really, what is up with this? Alvin and the Chipmunks are staples for some peoples' childhood, and now they are literally eating sh*t. You might as well make a movie about prison rape featuring Chip and Dale and rob us all of the cute, cuddly, original characters of pop culture's past.

Is it possible for your eyes to be raped? I saw a the trailer in the theater and wanted to kill myself. Is there no creativity left in the world that they have to pull out tired animated characters just to put something on the screen? Even worse, they got the narrator from Frontline to the monologue. What a travesty for a guy of his reputation.

Wonder if mr.T will make an apperance (if anyone remebers the show he had a guest apperance) I'm really glad the voices sounds the same, but i dont see why they made them so litle. and Jason Lee has got skwat on Dave Seville
