THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONE MOVIE IM LOOKING FORWARD TO IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER (BESIDES HITMAN & AMERICAN GANSTA!) THIS SHOULD BE GREAT!! THOMAS JANE & MARCIA GAY HARDEN OSCAR CONTENDERS MAYBE??..??

This is one of my favorite old school Stephen King stories. I have read it so many times I just hope the movie does justice to what I have envisioned. I have bought this story in his book Skeleton Crew at least four times because I wore it out. Man this can be epic!

What ever happened to radio broadcasts of stories? that would be so creepy. I guess the mass panic of war of the worlds kinda killed that market? I dunno, just wish we had a fun medium to bring people together and listen to a radio broadcast rather than always going to see movies. picture it...see?...doesn't it seem like a good time?

I've waited at least 25 years for this movie to be made after first hearing the radio broadcast produced by ZBS back in the early 80s. The radio broadcast, which was an excellent production, scared the crap out of me! I wrote the company and ordered a copy of it immediately! I was not more than 10 years old at the time. Then followed the release of Skeleton Crew with "The Mist" short story. I read it over and over and over. While I have to say I'm not impressed with this trailer, I'm thrilled about the great cast of people in this film, and can only hope Frank Darabont has done this story the justice it deserves, and I will be one of the first in line to see the movie when it's released.
