just picked it up on dvd. It was ok but can't be compared to the romero movies.they tried using some of the original character names. Original day of the dead was way better!!!

Nick Cannon?!?! WTF. This is a zombie movie, not a lame-ass comedy. The least they could've done was get a good actor. Heck, get Denzel Washington and everyone will be watching this movie :D.

I thought redoing George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead was bad, but this is just ridiculous. The original Day of the Dead is a great film that still holds up to today's standards, why mess with it? Does George have any say in this, or has he lost all the rights? So I guess they'll be redoing Land of the Dead even though it only came out a few years ago! Man this sh*t pisses me off. If it's not broke, don't fix it!

Ok, what the hell is this about. I love the original one but this is nothing like the original. Where is Dr.Frankenstein and Bob the Zombie at. Where is the underground base. This shit is fucking terrible and Nick Cannon is a piece of shit. Ole Romero is gonna kill someone over this.

i really liked the idea of a day of the dead remake when i thought it was going to start a while after the zombies had taken over, but im pretty tired of seeing zombie stories that start at the beginning of the infection.

anyway its still a zombie movie, and ving rhames is in it. even if nick cannon is in it, it should still be watchable.

(couldnt be any worse than wrong turn 2 and i sat through that entire movie)
