Comparing this movie to over 20 years of storyline is stupid. I for one am going to see the movie, regardless of it sucking. Complain and groan all you want, but we both now all of you are going to see the movie

Nah, Dragonball and DBZ were/are the only anime I really like. This, doesn't look amazing for a DB movie, but it doesn't look as horrible as you are all making it out to be. As far as the story, at least the fucking followed it unlike most film adaptions

already i think the movie sucks. as big of movie this is going to be, they can do much better with detail in the charecters , especially the story. come on people get the story strait unlike those morons that write the script for all those sucky superman movies and smallville come on.

This trailer's a definite step-up from the last one, which was horrible.

If this film would be based on original anime story it would be ok (gokku is small with tail trained by his not-real-grandpa gohan and later by master roshi), but now goku is chosen-one
and they need to collect the dragonballs till eclipse or something bad will happen so wtf is that??? If they doing film and change the story so far from the original so why still stick with original names story title??

Ohhh! Now I get it! Now it all makes sense to me. Check it out guys and gals. The suits at 20th Century Fox saw the dailies of this film and realizing that money was wasted . And thus had to scheme a way to get money somewhere else. HENCE "Hey, let's sue for WB for the WATCHMEN... In other words, this looks like total pure garbage (made for kids) and I know absolutely nothing about this world of DragonBall... Like someone's tag reads...

ok here is my perspective. it starts with the very begining- cept goku doesnt have a tail and is grown. he is trained by Grandpa Gohan. Then Piccolo-sama shows up with his evil desires for the Dragonballs. Piccolo-sama is a fusion between Piccolo & Kami. The ledgend of the balls says mystics which makes since cause the earthlings really dont know much about namek till DragonballZ. Goku could be white he is a Saiya-jin a total different Race. Bulma, yamcha, mai and everyone else are japanese. the future rides and CapsuleCorp cells are logical. I think the old school fans will be dissapointed but the new school will love it.

Well unfortunately, when a great thing (Dragonball) is made into a movie, the people in charge tend to think dollar and since than what the movie should be. I'm hoping it will be a good movie but will see.

What the hell did you guys expect? It's a movie called DRAGONBALL, from a game called DRAGONBALL...for kids....right? Ha. Amazing what people were expecting from this.

@ Nheitz get your facts right, The 7 Dragonballs and Eternal Dragon Shenron was created by the Earth's Guardian Kami. The Namekians are the only ones who can create Dragonballs and a Eternal Dragon for them.

This film looks terrible, they changed the story of dragonball completely. They said the 7 dragonballs were created by ancient protectors called mystics? No, they were created by the ancient dragon Shenron. Bulma isn't asian either, the casting for the characters look terrible. Picolo looks retarded with an extremely cheap half asses make-up and costume. I'm very disapointed and disgusted by this.
