This looks darker than the others in my opinion the makeup, voice, and hopefully not a horror/comedy either way I will still will see this movie the only thing so far that I liked more in Robert Englund as Freddy is that he was taller I am 6' tall and if I had a choice to go up against Harley or Robert as Freddy it would have to be Harley just because I could probably kick his teeth in

Even though I'm a huge fan of Robert Englund's Freddy, I still think it's about time he stepped down from the role. I have high hopes for this one.

I'm sorry.I've watched this teaser at least a dozen times.I'm trying to like it.I really am.I am aware they are trying to make more realistic.But still.It just seems so wrong.Personally,I think they should have let it go as is.Granted I think anything after NOES part one is stupid and I think no sequels should have made.I dont like this one at all.

this movie will be sooo cool, i love the begining of the trailer they never show the whole him dying thing in any other movies, the voice is weird but i dun really care :) they gonna make freddy unstupid.

But still can't wait to see this! I like the beginning with freddy's burning by the parents, indeed that makes him look more innocent, a new approach. It shouldn't be just a remake! And Jackie Earle Haley is a good choice for freddy, also liked his part in watchmen! But I think I'm gonna miss that chilly look, creepy stare and dark voice by Robert Englund too...

I agree. His face looks weird. And the voice doesn't quite do it for me. We'll see. I guess I'm just used to Robert Englund. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say about the new version of Freddie.

It seems like they are painting Kruger as innocent in this. If that's the case in this re-imagining, I will have some sympathy for the character. And if that's so, the parents should all get killed off.
