The book is an excellent piece of literature, which succeeds beautifully at drawing the reader in. Definitely, one of my favorite novels.

However...
What could have been a great film, maybe even Oscar nominated, looks nothing more than an August chick-flick. The only success I see from the trailer is effectively ruining a great story.

I'm being harsh, but I'll still see it, and hope for the best.
