First of all THAT IS NOT William Birkin.
If you remember in RES 2 he was killed.
You kill him in the lab, then at the trian he mutates in a giant moshy squid like mutant monster, and he is killed by Leon.
So it`s somebody els.
And yes that girl is probably his daughter, but then again that is just a guessing from me.

im gonna see this movie cus i have seen all the movies n played each resident evil game and im seeing it for the sake of Leon (blonde guy in the clip)

the thing at the end of the clip is william berkin (doctor) from resident evil 2

the monster at the end of the movie is Tyrant he used to be William Birkin who injected himself with the t-virus in part 2 of the game and is also Sherrys dad.

I think this movie is going to be awesome,Claire Redfield is the greatest!!! Im so glad they are finally putting the right 2 characters in the movies!!!

Maybe they are speechless! Just a guess. The Movie seems like a aftermath of the second RE game, it would be cool if they did a sequel to this movie about the other RE Characters that we don't see anymore, but the trailor looks tight, can't wait to see it in theatres.
