I hope this will be good. Paramount Studios purchased a large lot of mini bottles from me for this movie and I hope to recognize some of them!

Wow I was waiting for another CIA film to swept me off my feet like the goodsheperd did. Well i think i found , amazing cast really cant wait for this one

It may have not turned out well down the road, but hindsight is 20/20 as they say. It does look pretty good. Hoffman and Hanks are both superb actors.

It does have the soundtrack of a feel good movie, but loading a foreign nation's army with guns and ammo who later become our enemies is good why?

Tom Hanks. well, thats enough to encourage me to see this. Julia Roberts. now, i'm not so sure i want to see this. But, its from the same dude who made Graduate. Oh Fuck it. I do want to see this.

Charlie Wilson's War
Trailer

Based on George Crile's book about the CIA's largest and most successful covert CIA operation, the arming of the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan. The covert ops were engineered by Charlie Wilson (Hanks), a charismatic, wheeler-dealer, liberal Texas congressman who teamed with a rogue CIA operative (Hoffman). The two manipulated Congress, the CIA and a host of foreign governments in order to assist the Afghan rebels in their fight against the Soviets in the 1980s. Many of the men armed by the CIA went on to become the Taliban's enforcers and Osama bin Laden's protectors.
