Wow it's about time a new Lost Boys movie was released it's been so long since the first movie was shown worlwide since 1988 I think and today I'am already a grown man they made a sequel wow cwazy.

I think it is bullcrap that Corey Haim is not in the film. He is just as important to the movie as Corey Feldman if not more. I probably won't see it now. They would have aslo possibly made more money and you know that is what the bottom line is all about. I loved the first movie and this is a huge disappointment!!!!

I must agree with LoudLizard, i too watched this ata young age, 9 i think?
Scared the shit out of me in parts and I loved it!!
(Note on the trailer they copied the peekaboo from the dark corner scene that Kiefer Sutherland did in the original! AND BOTH Coreys are credited in th emovie Feldman AND Haim! So they are both in it OR he cameo's in a flashback sequence? (Just realised that the Frog Brothers was only ONE of Coreys with the second playing Andy! Durrrgghh!!)

The Lost Boys is still my favorite movie of all time. From the time I watched it at age 8 to my age of 27 now, no movie makes me laugh or remember my childhood quite like this one. I wish the actors knew what an impact this movie had on my family and my friends and how much we love all the characters and quotes. It was cheesy and campy (typical 80's flick), but definitely a classic. With Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Patric and the Corey's, you know it's going to be a blast to watch. Not to mention the awesome one-liners like "Death by Stereo" and "Holy sh*t, it's the attack of Eddie Munster!" I'm really worried the 2nd one will be "too little too late" and people just won't understand the campiness of it. I also hope Lost Boys 2 doesn't disappoint the Lost Boys fanatics... The fact that Corey Haim isn't in the movie really bothers me. I'm really excited to finally have a sequel, but nervous too!

Let's face. No one care about anything in this movie except seeing the Coreys do their thing with the Vampires. And thats just plain beautiful.

as long as the blood look real and the gore is nice, then it should be fine....corey feldman being 20 years older and being in this movie is kinda cool too

Lost Boys was a classic 80's teen bloodsucker film with class characters. Surely if they had to make a sequel (and im not sure they needed to) they could have marketed it much better and done a big budget noughties defining mega movie with a cinema release. Obviously the interest is still there even after 20 years. Cant help but feel disappointed. I'll still see it though. Frog brothers rule!
