Actresses Amy Adams and Lena Endre are the latest cast members to join the Untitled Paul Thomas Anderson Project.

Amy Adams will play the wife of Philip Seymour Hoffman's character, a man known only as The Master. After World War II, The Master creates his own belief structure, which rapidly grows in popularity all across the country. The story is loosely based on the creation of Scientology. It isn't known what role Swedish actress Lena Endre will play in the religious drama, which was formerly titled The Master.

Paul Thomas Anderson is directing from his own original screenplay. Megan Ellison is producing through her Annapurna Productions company, along with JoAnne Sellar and Daniel Lupi.

Production is scheduled to start later this month on the Untitled Paul Thomas Anderson Project.
