Uhm.. I would say Wizard is good if you like movies and comics new together, but by far, I would say Entertainment is the best monthly one. It is usually focused on the big films, but every now and then on the smaller ones. Up to you.
No time to talk, will get back with you later.Have a good day.
Why is everyone in arms that M. Night is directing The Last Airbender? What's wrong with that? He's a seasoned director of several successful films. Just because his last 3 were not that great (Village, Lady in the Water, Happening) does that mean his first three are no longer great? (6th sense, Unbreakable, Signs). Well, give it a rest, and here's why...
1: This is NOT one of his original stories. This is an adaption from an already successful Emmy award winning series with a world wide following.
2: This film is not being shot solely in Pennsylvania, but on location in remote regions of the world (Filming starts in March in GREENLAND).
3: This is the first project that M. Night is working on WITH someone, in close collaboration with the original creators of the story.
4: M. Night works well with kids and young actors, and the bulk of the story centers around actors of this age.
5: M. Night is dedicating the next 6 years of his life to this project, just as Peter Jackson did for LOTR. Now THERE was a washed up director. Ever try watching one of Jackson's films pre-LOTR? It's a joke!
6: The story itself has many aspects of Asian culture in it. Night's culture is represented as well.
So chill people. This film could very well do for Night as LOTR did for Jackson, so sit tight and wait for the next 1 1/2 years and enjoy the show.
"working progress" novel? What's that?
Anyway, people need to live with what they got. I mean "The Dark Knight" JUST hit the DVD shelves, and soon it'll be back in theaters. They need to be happy that they have that, and stop worrying. Of course, I've got no room to talk. "Resident Evil: Extinction" just recently came out, and I want them to hurry the fuck up and make "Resident Evil 4" already. LMFAO!
On a side note, I knew Two-Face would die before I saw the movie. I was telling everyone that even IF "The Dark Knight" looked so awesome, it's got the potential to suck. Then I said "I bet Two-Face'll be like Venom did in 'Spiderman 3.'" Everyone, of course, assured me he wouldn't. :) I know things. lolz!
But here's what I'm getting at: Harvey. Dent. Is. Dead. lolz.
Finally saw them, huh? I know that you said that you saw the first "Underworld," but I never heard about you seeing "Underworld: Evolution." You know, some are saying that the second one was rubbish, but I couldn't disagree more. That movie was all kinds of awesome, just like "Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans" will be. lolz!
I didn't know that they'd released "Defiance" in 2008. I only knew that here it's coming out tomorrow. lolz. Did you ever see "The Incredible Hulk?" That was all kinds of awesome.
Writing is my drug, that's for sure. You know that "comment" I wrote was an excellent warm up? I spend the following 7 hours writing 10,000 words. A personal best!
When you start your writing, start small. Don't write your epic first. I learned that the hard way. My first 3 books, a Sci-Fi trilogy (freak'en epic dude) totally blows in its overall presentation. It's easier for me to write new stuff than refurbish the old, but I'll get back to it someday. That's my advice to you.
Good luck honing your talents!
Anyway, there's not a lot going on with me. I finally finished my ginormous review undertaking. I reviewed all of the James Bond movies. It was laborious, but I had tons of fun with it. Check some out if you want to. They're not too shabby, lolz. Then after that I reviewed "Role Models," and what world would we be in when Vamp, MovieWeb's leading Vampire source, didn't see and review "Twilight." I actually own and have read the entire "Twilight Saga" and was INCREDIBLY pumped for the movie, and was very pleased with how they played it out. Are you a "Twilight" basher, or a fan? lolz.
I'm in school, too, but nothing very interesting going on there. I guess now I'm just waiting impatiently for January 23, 2009 to roll around, so I can FINALLY go and see "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans." That movie is going to be amazing!!!!!
Hope I was helpful. Anything new with you, man?
