"You've been back enough, I'll be back"
@2movieguys What were you smoking when you saw Snow White and The Huntsman? and more importantly why are you comparing a silly comedy to a fantasy adventure epic? I mean yeah, same story, but completely different takes and kinda different genres
I think with the exception of the broken batman mask poster and the Bane banner where he is standing on top of a tumbler... I've hated every other piece of marketing for this so far

but a poster doesn't make a movie sooo.. still looking forward to it.
Later this year still has The Expendables 2 and Skyfall, there is competition everywhere but March has nothing that would take away their audience so far
@rufio Also as for the Fall or late Summer, I'd love to see it sooner too but I udnerstand March is the new Summer movie experience love child so to speak, movies like 300 which were released in march and did very big numbers did so cause that month usually has Zero coming out that can compete so more people make it out for the more viable possible blockbuster.
@rufio

I believe the idea of possibly doing more with Tatum is not really solid right now, but they are supposedly doing it as screenings feedback showed that though Channing wasn't the best actor, people still like him and the character of Duke too much to let go just yet.
I'm just gonna say it again... I'm not gonna say I didn't call it. lol
I'm not gonna say I didn't call it.

On one side there is Snow White and the Huntsman, Prometheus and Brave... and on the other side there is Spiderman and Batman... or at least there was.

They were sandwiched in a tough spot and after how poorly Battleship is tracking so far, they don't want to be next on the flop board. But they will make the excuse that they did it cause of the 3D conversion.
That said, I'm still a fan of Michael Bay because I though he finally got it right with Dark of the Moon.

Also, actors, directors, writers all have at least one stinker in their career, this is Peter Berg's first in my opinion so I'll give him a pass :)
@junior-roberts

It is a popcorn movie, but even by popcorn movie standards it asks you to give up too much. It has as much lack of Logic as Revenge of The Fallen.
To comment on Battleship though. It wasn't the worst movie ever. It just wasn't above 'good' and even that I feel is a stretch.

The whole movie I couldn't help but be annoyed that Taylor Kitsch and Liam Neeson had the worst written dialogue, while lesser characters in smaller roles seemed to have dialogue more fitting and logical.

There were at least a few times in the movie where a few characters reacted to the idea of Aliens like it was not an issue that should at least scare them a bit. There were characters actively trying to get into hand to hand combat with Alien Characters, without knowing their capabilities or having any idea what they were.

There were illogical things like Alien ships so advanced they can travel that far across Space, create a barrier that effectively locks the Hawaiian Islands down, and destroy entire ships in a few seconds of fire. Yet they have regular glass on their bridge that 50 Cal sniper rifles can shoot through?

Also I like the nod to the vets but it just was a disservice to the film in parts, don't show me 70/80something year old men firing big ass machine guns on a 70 year old ship.

and last but certainly not least...

A ship drifting in water like it's a racecar? I had no idea I was watching Tokyo Drift 2, might as well have thrown in Bow wow as the main character's sidekick
@daveactor7

Not to sound racist but I think a lot of "suburban" people went to see Battleship.... lol

@dbzfan91

So you've never watched any shark movie then? :p

Cause they usually get killed by the end... and they are animals

technically so are people lol
Youngrizo wrote a comment about the news item Hulk TV Series Hopes to Debut on ABC in 2013
The only problem is TV shows never have the kind of budget movies can get sooo CGI wise they are barebones... i mean it can be good, but I as a fan would like a hulk movie more cause there' just a lot of standalone stories that are better told in movies than TV shows... until tv shows reach the point where they can be like that... where you can see 3 or 4 episodes of the Planet Hulk story for instance...
@junior-roberts Agreed completely
Youngrizo gave this a Thumbs Up
@PointMan528491

I have no doubt it will make it to number 3 at least and dethrone harry but Titanic and Avatar are the only ones that are really giant numbers are head
@superman81 Agreed. That's my view exactly, there's a whole host of movies releasing the rest of the summer and with that, there's no way Avengers beats Avatar's 2.7 billion to become the highest grossing film of all time.

It's just mathematically and logically not feasible... but stranger things have happened.
@moviewiz001 I loved Avengers but there is no way it's hitting Avatar numbers... if it dropped at the end of the summer and did these numbers. It would have a chance but between the next few weeks worth of movies and Batman at the tail end.... they don't have enough time

Then again, I didn't think it would break 900 million total and here it has breached 1 billion in no time at all.

Bravo Marvel! Bravo!

There's a million articles out there, but movieweb didn't have one yet and boxofficemojo didn't have one as well titled as this. to put it simply, I only linked this half assed article because the title was everything I want in entertainment news lol
