I love that they keep hiding the fact this is not made by Marvel. And showing the Marvel logo the way it is in trailer for official Marvel Studios movies

I look forward to this cause I trust Twohy and Diesel to pull off a good Riddick movie but I really hate all the people that complained about Chronicles and forced them to make basically another Pitch Black instead of the trilogy they had originally envisioned.

This is what happens when you let the internet have too much say in your work

:(
@Brizzy He never died. He passed out while explaining to Nick Fury that the team needed a reason to rally together. When Maria Hill says she'll send medics over, Fury says "they're already here" when they weren't.

At the end Maria Hill even confronts Fury about the location of the bloody cards, it was all a ruse dude. And Nick Fury has done similar and crazier things in the past, in the marvel universe.

Even after the movie came out when interviewed about it, both Joss Whedon and Clark Gregg implied there was a point to the whole thing that was not explained in the movie and that would be explained down the line.

@superman81 Agreed, I can't wait for this. I really think Snyder is a good fit for comic book based material.
This looks fun, but I am still unsure of super hero shows. Right now, on CW Arrow works cause he is a regular human beign so there is always constant drama, as well as the knowledge that he doesn't have any super abilities.

But I am looking forward to this, I hope it plays like a 24 style show but with super heroes

@superman81 My only problem as a fan when I hear that is I remember how they said the same thing about Brandon Routh.

I tend to be skeptical of people's views on any subject that has nostalgia as a factor.
@therealGoku The difference is Thor was holding Stark, he wasn't even trying to crush him.
@felipe-11

You know it's funny, I just decided to go back and re-watch the trailers and even they make more sense now, especially Trailer 3... the editing makes more sense when 'Mandarin' is saying "You don't know who I am, you'll never see me coming" they even show a clip of Killian standing on that roof... It just blew my mind lol

I like it even more now.

Every time there is a really popular film that is released and makes a gargantuan amount of money, or when a game releases that does so, the pissed off vocal minority who dislike the product/artwork decry it as utter sh*t and then they call all those enjoying it mindless zombies...

To those people I say "men lie, women lie, numbers don't"

Hardcore purists will always object to anything that is different from what they want, but you hardcore purists, with all due respect, before you go claiming yourselves smarter and more mature, maybe consider that the world doesn't revolve around you. Consider that things cannot grow without change. Consider that statistically, all the people you insult may actually be more mature for the simple fact they are clearly more open minded and don't get too attached to things that are mere products. Because the only other people who do that, are babies, children.. they get attached to things.... so maybe you're all just being big babies when you choose to be that kind of attached person.

Again, I believe it was Ivan Vanko who said "Hey man, don't get too attached to things. Learn to let go."
@dan1 Oh dude, we're on the same page, I loved the movie, I'm with you on all that. I wish the crying fanboys would get it.
@dan1 hahahahahahahaha

expecting it right? so ridiculius these die-hard fanboys...

Like Ivan Vanko said "hey man, learn to let go" lol

But it is seriously annoying to me that people are not willing to enjoy a retelling of a story in a different medium for what it is, they just want it to be the exact same thing over and over again...

I'll admit, I was mad at what Nolan did to the Batman Universe, but I accept it as he's take and it's own universe, the same way different artists have done different takes on batman in the comics and cartoons... and even the same with all other comic book characters, no 2 treatments by different artists ever stay the same.

Yet the fanboys will cry bloody murder at everything when hollywood touches it, forgetting to just enjoy it and appreciate it as another new approach.

The movie had a great cast, a great plot, a great villain, great and memorable dialogue, an awesome score by Brian Tyler, Tony Stark as a character experiences growth, a full character arc continuing from Iron Man 1 all the way through to this, yet... one new take on an established character and people decry it as the worst thing ever made. I miss logical film goers who used to be able to enjoy films for what they were.
As a nerd and a comic book fan and a movie fan, while I understand why people didn't like the treatment of the Mandarin... I also enjoyed it cause I felt it made the story that much better. The summer blockbuster movies are filled with these villains like Bane and the Joker and all that, the dark brooding villain who tests the hero to some extreme end, I like them but the trend is getting boring, we already see this coming in Star Trek...

So this whole thing is to me, a matter of taste vs loyalty to a product... I am not loyal to the product, but I love films and story enough to accept that they made a trade off that I felt made the story more enjoyable.

This Iron Man has a better cast, better action, better writing, better comedy and better pacing than the previous 2... to hate on it based on that one thing.... I can't do that
now i need to watch Frazier
***see's behind the scenes pictures of actors in a little make up, nothing final, with no effects***

Throws silly tantrum about how it's nothing like the characters from the comics or cartoons....
@Joshua-Hollaway @ghostman

While I agree the title sounds silly, one of the great freedoms art allows writers is that writing is not limited to the confines that all other professions allow. Hence poetry and other such things allow for what would otherwise be odd uses of language.
lmfao wow, business moves are so crazy... so rather than pay a casting director money to go find good actors, they'll make a reality show to make money off of that will also market the movie long before it's release... business wise I respect it, but outside of that, that's a horrible idea
