“You gotta make a choice fellas who you gonna be, boys or men? ”

Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan star in Eagle Eye, a cautionary tale of digital identity and the perils of Big Brother-esque data gathering from our increasingly connected existence. LaBeouf and Monaghan shine with strong performances. Billy Bob Thornton and Rosario Dawson provide solid suppo...

“Everyone in this movie has gone 'full retard'...”

Tropic Thunder is one of those movies you WANT, desperately, to like. Lots of folks (I guess those that still have a 2nd-grader's sense of humor) think it was one of the funniest movies they've ever seen. But...like so much of Ben Stiller's work, this, too, is just another disappointment. Over...

“I now pronounce you... husband... and... husband.”

A fitting, albeit tongue-in-cheek ending for the crowd in Boston. Denny and Alan march off into the sunset together, as do Shirley and Carl. Jerry and Katie seem to have 'some' kind of future. They deserve it. The Chinese landed the firm and are, apparently, naming it "Chang, Poole & Schmidt"....

“Absolutely Classic!”

Denny, Alan, Shirley, Carl, Katie and Jerry 'squirm' under the bear-hug from a Chinese firm buying-out Crane, Poole & Schmidt. This is classic Boston Legal, the stuff that we've all just become 're-aware' that we'll dearly miss going forward. When Denny unloads 2 pistols of paint-balls on the ...

Deception is a decent thriller that is laced together with the expected twists and turns and is definitely something you'll be both entertained by and feel comfortable with. The comfort, really, comes from having seen it all before. Yes, it's totally predictable. But I've, personally, seen it don...

“There ain't no girls in The Unit...”

WOW! That's all I've got to say. The start to Season 4 of this perennial favorite opened with a huge BANG! When the leaders (and the leaders-elect) of the U.S. are targeted and, most of them, killed, the Unit deploys to recover the president-elect and delve into the grand assassination plot...

“Like the movie version of a bad acid trip...”

Speed Racer could have been a great pic. We could have seen an upscale version of the old cartoon. A present-day tale that would seed a great franchise. Instead, the producers and director of the film got too high on their own supply and vomited up a psychedelic steaming dung surprise... Clear...
