I think the movie looks pretty fun - great summer movie fare, actually. Plus, I kind of really love Jay Baruchel - I think he's adorable. He's been on win streak with his movies lately - How to Train Your Dragon, She's Out Of My League....Sorcerer's Apprentice could be his trifecta! Thoughts?

Guaranteed to enjoy the film! Pixar's done it again, it seems....but I guess that's not really a surprise :-P

Hmm...I don't feel like he held back at all. Alice is a weird story, but I never thought of it as really "dark", so I think he captured it just right.

This is the latest doc*mentary from Disney's environmental label. They also released EARTH last year. I'm a big fan of the ocean, having lived in Cali for awhile, so I'm definitely interested in this one. Looks amazing!

Hands down, Toy Story 3!

^^ Were you at the screening at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood? Saw pics from that and noticed all the costumes - looked mad, for lack of a better word, lol. I didn't realize how dedicated a lot of the fans are!

Anybody see the movie? If so, what did you think? It cleaned up at the box office - it's kind of amazing and crazy at the same time. I really liked it - thought it was very Tim Burton! The Cheshire Cat was awesome.

I don't know - it looks like there's PLENTY of action in it. Yes, it's Disney but it's also Jerry Bruckheimer - same combo did Pirates of the Caribbean and that was full of swordfights and action. As for Jake - I think he's a good choice to play the role of the Prince. I don't think him being American makes much of a difference at all - as long as he can bring the character to life, which I think he'll do just fine. He's a solid actor and he really beefed up & trained hard to do all the stunts of a proper action hero...and he actually sorta resembles the Prince from the game.

Hm - well the thing about the book was that it was just Alice wandering through Wonderland meeting various characters. From what I understand, Burton kind of re-imagined it to have her come back to Wonderland and made some sort of narrative to link all those characters together.

Did you all see the ad during the Super Bowl last week? Full of action! Def not a pass for me. I think this might actually be a really good video game adaptation.

Any fans of the game looking forward to this movie? The trailer looks pretty epic, as are some of the other videos I've seen so far. And I like Jake Gyllenhaal...like, a lot.

I heard her song on a preview for the movie I saw over the weekend - sounds pretty good and actually, kind of fits in with the movie! I also heard Metro Station & 3OH!3's songs from the soundtrack...definitely think it'll be a cool album. I can't WAIT to see the movie!

Anyone gonna check this out this month? All the promos seem pretty funny - and seems like Josh & Kristen have been everywhere lately.
