Oh, one other thing. I was wondering if you guys could help me think up a "short idea" (no pun intended). I have 3 main characters, 1 guy, 2 chicks, a set that would be easily accessable, and one camera. Oh, there would be no budget as well. 1 chick is the girl friend of the guy and the guy is pretty attached to her. The 2nd chick is a friend of chick 1 (not very close, but friends), BUT the guy still thinks the other chick is pretty hot, even though he wouldn't cheat or even break up with his gal. Send me some ideas, thanks.

A couple of EASY short ideas:

What I did to try and figure out a few funny shorts; was I took an extreme job and put him/her/them into normal, everyday situation that complimented their job.

1) Secret Agents/Spies (or Ex-Secret Agents/Ex-Spies) that:
- Go grocery shopping.
- On a mission to retrieve munchies while they are high on Marijuana.
- Lose job and is forced to deliver pizzas.

2) The Croc Hunter makes his way into a strip club while chasing an animal of some kind.

Here are 2 ideas. You guys let me know if you like em. I might submit a couple more ideas that are a little more complex. I just want to see what kind of trust we can create in this group, b/c I do have a couple of much more complex ideas that I would like to get feedback on to help me progress through them a little better. Please let me know your thoughts and thanks for reading.

Ha Ha! Good stuff, we seem to have more script writers then movie makers here. We filmmakers think a like, so get as many as you can. Im trying to get my film making buds here too. So seeing as a short film can be anything (read above :P ) Got any ideas?
Hello everyone. It seems I found this site exploring ideas for shorts just like most of you. I noticed that BigScreen mentined that there are a lot of screen writers here, but not as many filmmakers. Well, I like that a lot. I want to be able to write my own movies (and I have written ALL of them so far), BUT as a filmmaker, I want to be able to direct the film, even if the idea is mine. I do have many many ideas and I keep a journal and many speratic, loose, note sheets with ideas. I have submitted quite a few loglines to ONTHELOT.com, but I didn't write them down and have lost a few jewels. Anyway, please pardon my rambeling. I haven't slept in 3 days and have been working on a short, a TV commercial, and we just had to have an all day film shoot for Carnett's Car Wash's Instructional video, hence I'm mentally exhausted. However, I wanted to let everyone who has left a message on this thread that I really like the atmosphere here and all of you guys seem pretty cool. Filmmakers need to work together and help each other and success will come to everyone in some form. I have no problem spilling some of the ideas I have, but I only ask for yalls help in return. I'm goin to release a few ideas in another reply so as not to drag this one out any longer than I have already. I want to congratulate all who stick it out and read this whole message. Thanks.
