Twisted Smile (The Untold Smile)

You know, I have seen this complaint in other places around the net, but I don't think I have seen it bitched about more than on this site. It is always astounding to see how much ridicule is focused on these films. I didn't have a problem understanding him and let's be honest, the film has just recently entered the editing stage where touch ups are made. I'm not saying that for some it might not be as easy to understand him as it is for others, but what I am saying is that we should wait for the film to be released to see if this "issue" persists. Personally, I think it's a bunch of pessimistic people looking for any reason to dislike the film and for potential reasons for it to fail.

This is from the National Enquier and if you are going to believe anything this paper says then you will definitely believe this....I am the sexiest man alive....actually, that is quite true.

Do you think, just maybe, that the audio has yet to be polished in editing and that's why he is hard to hear? If I am not mistaking, Christopher Nolan said the main purpose of the prologue was to show off the IMAX imagery. We have how many months until it's released? I think there is time to do some audio work.

@SpaceCowboy The commentary was the main reason I purchased it. Truth is, I probably would have picked it up regardless, but they definitely left a lot out of this release. Canada has the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. If you are interested.

Just a little update for anyone that reads this and has not yet purchased it, there are three versions of this film in North America. There is a single disc Blu-ray (I bought this one), a version (shown above) that comes with a digital copy and for those that live in Canada you get a DVD+BLU-RAY Combo pack that features a pretty cool slipcase. I believe Canada is Region 1 like America, so if you rather have that version (I would rather have this one) than you should order it from Amazon.CA. This looks like an interesting doc*mentary. I will check it out.

This was a definite surprise for me. I heard some negative chatter about this when it was released and so my hopes for it were quite dim. I also am not a big fan of the first film (shoot me), but I thought this was a terrific film that deserved way more praise than it got. If you haven't seen it you are missing out on one of the coolest looking films in a long while. It's story is rather good as well.
