well sed darthboromir, altho "Destroy" mite b abit harsh choice of words, i jus want them to get serious with it, aim for an older audience with a screenplay with more depth, less of Bays promo style way of filming, less cheese humor more bad lauguege .... the list could go on!!

if its done rite (witch i hope it will be) then HELL Ye!!! .... myself, im hoping for some awesome Fighting/action scene's similar to the fight sequence between Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman & Liev Schreiber towards the end of the Wolverine movie (only betta) .. say using someone like Steve Terada & Ernie Reyes Jr & also give the "Jumpers" some sort of unqiue weapon to, that could be cool

here's a daffed idea, Market it on a stripe down verion of the IPad, kinda like the Electro Comic-book for the Tom Hanks movie "Big" ... or something like the PDA's with the translucent screens from the "Avatar" movie, ya no jus made to store the novel, i no its not Eco friendly but its kinda different!

I think we can all agree that we would of liked this film to be made for an older crowd, with some serious acting, & when i 1st heard Jake Gyllenhaal was the star i had my douts (not to knock Donnie Darko that was a great cult classic) but id have to agree with "Aficionado" it is Disney, they make films that every generation can enjoy, as for me ill be seeing this movie ive played all the games including the original, & "kingbrady" you were saying about the Prince i.e Jake Gyllenhaal Running around everywhere & doing the stunts from the game, well David Belle the man responsalbe for giving use Parkour & the movie District 13 is part of the stunt team so im sure we'll get to see some amazing stunts

u no every 1 here is focusin on the fact that this is a Disney, Lets not 4get that Bruckheier is Producing this! & let be honest even with or without Disney, that Man has bin apart of some great Film, ill admit that sounds a little kiss arse, but u cant fault the man!

why shouldnt they make films based on them books there great stories, Middle-earth is one of the most extensive and detailed fantacy worlds ever concieved lol i say bring them on :o) .. & the latest book "The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún" is not based in middle-earth!

I really hope, whoever is writing the /screenplay for this has read all of Tolkien's works based in Middle-Earth, The Silmarilloin, Unfinished Tales even the 12 volumes of The History of Middle-Earth & the 2 volumes of The History of The Hobbit, if they do & understand it all this should be a epic pair of films & should easily do as well as The Return of the KIng

I agree with Chad Vital, Tatum is a bit young for this role, & sweeneyfan1 how exactly is this GAY? Especially with all the hot actress's in it lol crazy! Listen 2 FOY: were the wild things are!! ... It is going 2 b feckin awesome
