loved the original series and raced home from high school to catch it at 3:30 every weekday . later in the 80's a local PBS channel ran it every evening and we'd have dinner in the living room while watching it . Burton's films are Always worth watching and i am psyched for his take on DS. only sad note is the recent loss of Jonathan Frid , the Original Barnabas who appears in the film . if not for his untimely passing ,i'm sure he'd be receiving a lot of much-deserved media attention . saw him perform a one man show of POE that he performed beautifully and was very friendly to meet and greet after the show .got a good feeling on this one .
