@shuabert There was an article on here from a day or two ago where Jeff Robinov lays out his plan to keep the franchise going without a full reboot. The idea fits perfectly. Robinov has experience in the genre as well. Sony should listen to him if they want bigger success.

This would be amazing if they could sign him.

@shuabert Disney/Marvel is still willing to give up a lot at this point though. Can't ignore that. If the leaked e-mails are true, Disney/Marvel is willing to give Sony 40 percent of the money from all MCU films involving Spider-Man(and would probably go as high as 45 percent), plus Sony would distribute the film.

I think Disney understands that Sony will never sell of Spider-Man 100 percent. Even though profit is slipping, they are still making some profit. With the right team in place, they could go back to their glory days of their Spider-Man.
Gosling should stay away from Sony's Spider-Man.

When you read the title of this article, you are left freaking out over the possibility of another reboot, but Jeff Robinov's comments actually make sense. I like his ideas. I just hope his plans can be connected with the MCU.

Sony needs to understand they have no bargaining chip. Disney/Marvel knows Spider-Man as a franchise is slipping under their rule.
