@c-a-r-t-m-a-n Not true. As Stan Lee said "it is portrayed as the writer wants to portray it".
@c-a-r-t-m-a-n Even that list of villains you gave is not perfect. I didn't name every villain that was bad, only a few. I often hear Red Skull was a bad villain, but I personally like him. Winter Soldier is probably the best villain so far. I hear a lot of hate for Ronan as well. Thanos seems to fall a notch with GOTG, but his plans are in future films.

My problem with the Loki scene in the Avengers was not just because they made him a joke by doing it. You don't build up a villain for 2 films, make him the major villain of your centerpiece film, and then finally make him the butt of a joke. If they had done that to your favorite Marvel villain, I'm sure you would be upset as well.

@c-a-r-t-m-a-n That is easy. Whiplash, Killain(aka Mandarin), and Malekith.
@c-a-r-t-m-a-n Not true at all. While it is my opinion, most do believe the MCU villains are below average. Treating them like garbage doesn't help any.
How is a film that is generally getting a 7 or 8 out of 10 getting mixed reactions?
@undeadslayer4 I still find the movie enjoyable, but when you build a villain like Loki up over 2 films only to make him the butt of a joke, I feel(as do most) that it makes him pretty meaningless.
@c-a-r-t-m-a-n No, it is not. Most admit that it continues to prove the MCU doesn't really care about its villains.
@junior-roberts Remember how they made a joke out of Loki at the end of Avengers by having Hulk throw him around being the butt of a joke? I hope we don't get something silly like that.
Once again, James Spader saves that awful start to the trailer. He is really going to dominate as Ultron. I really hope they don't pull a Loki on him though.

Marvel has yet to release a successful Hulk film. I'm sure they are still leery on releasing another one.
Unless this Thor movie improves in terms of box office, it could be the last time Thor gets a solo film for awhile.

TheDude1 wrote a comment about the news item BOX OFFICE: Ouija Wins with $20 Million
@ObiWanShinobi Because, like me, I enjoy watching bad horror movies. They draw a crowd and they always will. I'm paying 6 dollars to see the movie tonight. 10 Dollars to see John Wick in IMAX tomorrow. I love movies and will see basically everything if I have the time.

Charles Roven recently said Nolan was still a producer, but because he was off filming Interstellar he wasn't involved as much as he was in the past.

If John Wick makes over 20 million that would be fantastic. It probably won't though.

John Wick is getting fabulous reviews though. That will help it last a good while at the theaters.
