This is awesome news! But it needs to have Mark Hamill, and the rest of the OG cast in it... It won't work if they are not in it.
MY god what news! In many ways I'm sad Lucas will not be as involved as he was because it was his vision that gave us all these wonderful characters. But at the same time I wish him well, and hope he enjoys kicking back, and enjoying all 8-10Billion he's got as a networth.

He's still owning 50% of the stocks for Lucasfilms, and SW so he's not going to fully go away. He's just not taking the charge anymore in directing, producing, and running the day to day of his companies. Disney will now run all things Lucasfilms which it seems like a perfect fit.

I'm super excited about the new movies! Cannot wait, and I just hope Luke returns, and Hamill is in them. I always wanted sequels, and not the prequels! Now I get my wish... :D
No glasses, and a flannel shirt? If they were going to remake Smallville might as well have used the real Superman for this generation in Tom Welling, and not this guy who just doesn't look the part IMO.

The new Superman suit sucks more then the Singerman suit also... This movie will be an epic fail.

This is finally going to be an EPIC Mortal Kombat movie... I cannot wait.
boooooooooooooooooo Another terrible casting move! Zod again? Really? What is the point of the reboot then? Wasn't Singer going in this same exact direction? This movie will prove how another director could fail.
@josh Tom Welling is 6' 3" and weights in at a solid 230lbs which is the exact size Superman is in the comics.

Henry Cavill hardly clocks in at 6 foot tall, and is about 195pounds tops! Was he cut up for that movie sure but he's not bulky at all he's very thin framed, and the fact that he's about 2 or 3 inches shorter then Welling proves my point that his overall body frame is smaller then Welling so while Welling isn't as cut up he's bulkier and with the "Superman training" he would be ideal body size for the role while Cavill has to put on almost 40 pounds to even look decent in the suit.

He's Shrimpyman of Steel... Sorry I don't want to see a Superman who's my height, and is someone who's ass I could kick.
No this means that JLA might use John Stewart instead of Hal Jordan leaving Hal alone to his own series of films which would make sense because well this way the WB can double dip in the character without having to re use the same exact character version, and also it gives us the fans BOTH Green Lanterns on screen.

I love the idea of a JLA movie with a rebooted Batman since Bale said he was done after Dark Knight Rises, a real Superman perhaps Welling, and not that shrimpy sized Cavill, and another version of GL. The Hal Jordan story is a great one for a solo movie but the John Stewart one is perfect for a JLA movie.
Yea what if part 1 sucks, and flops?

Cheesy posters... Looks like a quick cheap photo shop... Sorry there is nothing "Epic" about these.

And the producers of 300 huh? No wonder Henry Cavill got the role of Superman they had him in this, and wanted to use him again.

He's still all wrong for Superman tho that's an epic fail of a casting.
looks interesting... I love the original Pinocchio movie but everything that's come after has sucked, and has failed to capture the magic the original has.
