You know, I would have just played it like Spielberg did w/Minority Report by finding out what the military is really working for the future and keep it based in reality...as much as possible. All fake science needs to be convincing to some degree. Take the TV show "The Unit", add a little bit of the new Battlestar Galactica with the spirit of G.I. Joe Resolute. How about a "Black Hawk Down" styled adventure film? I think the /story had merit, it was the look & direction that was terrible. Ed, you thought it was awesome!? Wow! But I can see why you'ld say that cause I wanted it to be so. I could pull out my 25th Anniversary Joe collection and have more fun.
