I don't even know where to start! I think he should have gone with his first and second thoughts that this wasn't for him!! Might have saved the real fans having to watch it muddled about with! And jeditoby, you are right...without the Arthurian Legend, it's just a lame mockup of HP! And please....why is it so horrid to keep the happy family? Done properly, there's plenty of conflict in the series!!!

Is there anything that you brought from the other five Dark books that you put into this?

John Hodge: No. I haven't jumped into the other books at all. I have just focuses on this book itself.

How could he have brought anything from the other books....he brought very little from THIS book it seems!

At least Amelia recognized that the books and the film aren't even the same! Too bad she didn't read more of the books though to know that some of the characters actually do reappear! No harm done though, from the sounds of it, there won't be a need for sequels of this one!

So much promise, and it is being wasted! Why in the world does something as awesome as this series need this much "interpretation"? And, if this is how it is interpreted, then they need to go back to class!! I was thrilled at the thought of this series brought to film, but am quickly becoming dismayed at the butchery that seems to be such a large part of it.

I was so thrilled when I saw the trailer and thought a movie was being made about one of my favorite series! The more I read though, the less thrilled I become. It seems destined to be a real hatchet job. And, for Pete's sake...Old English?? Does this knucklehead even have a clue what Old English really is?? This is really sad, alas.
