@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx yea Hangover 3 seems to have the fans wanting to see how it all ends. I never figured it would be tight but people who saw 1 and 2 are going to see this movie to the very end. I feel F6 will sell more day time shows and in the end will win the weekend. Could be very close both movies reaching 100m or close to it OW. FF6 should reach 100m no problem. Has there ever been 2 movies hit 100m in one weekend?

@stefanos I knew when I saw how big F5 was that this one would be even bigger. This is one of the few franchises that I feel could keep making money all the way to 10 movies. The Rock helped F5 for sure and FF6. Now with a mystery villain we all like coming in F7 they can keep the movies and $$$ rolling in

@themoviefanatic no it was around the time Lego Batman 2 came out. I think Game Informer said it was the best Superman ever made and they went on saying something about the Arkham developers making a superman game. One can only hope because superman hs never had his own decent game

@themoviefanatic yea I read somewhere something was in the works for his own game. Maybe in time for the XBOX one

The commercial is so funny! Its more Cavill's expression. The game is also fun to play. I wish they would do an Arkham style game for Superman

@corey I dont see it happening, very little marketing for AE plus the duo isnt very well liked. Will Smith aside, the movie looks cheap. It will only make money because they decided to move it up a week. Now it has a couple of weeks to make some kind of money. Had it stayed, MOS would have raped it 2nd week and this is the end would have made enough to kick it down to 3rd or 4th

89m for FF6 it too low, that movie has 100m written all over it. I see FF6 at 103m and Hangover will do at least 75m. But WOM is not very good so it might have people choosing FF6 over it or even seeing Star Trek

@themoviefanatic yep and I think word of mouth is going to carry this movie.

@skywise dont guess it matters if they are a minimal role characters. just wondered why they are even needed in Avengers. if they are taking the place of Hawkeye who is rumored to either being recast or wrote off completely then it would make sense to add some new people

@skywise if that is the case then why did they need to set up Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man for them to an Avengers movie?

Why is Whedon even trying to add the two in the first place? Did QS and SW become Avengers? Did they ever go toe to toe with Thanos? Seems like Whedon is trying to dump a crap load of characters with no established background into an already character top heavy movie. I dont see how they serve any purpose.

At least he seems committed to his character and would like to see Superman in more movies. He is a class act

@kiion well I agree, WB needs to be patient and not want to reboot Superman should it not make 1b. I think it is going to take more than one Superman movie to get the non fans and non comic book fans hooked once again. I do think if SR could make almost 400m world wide then MOS should be able to almost do that domestic. Marvel makes films to build on one another, the most success they have had outside of Avengers is Iron Man, not counting Spider-Man because he belongs to Sony. Iron Man is to Marvel what Batman has been to DC. DC needs MOS to be what Avengers is to Marvel. Superman is the superhero, he started it all. He needs and deserves a movie to showcase him. the DC animated movie line has done great with him and the rest of the DC characters. WB needs to get serious and stop playing games if they ever want to produce the type of movies Marvel has. WB cant keep rebooting Bats

@ejk1 the trailers make me believe this is nothing like Superman1 or 2. The Origin is similiar yet different in that Kal-El is not genetically enhanced like other kryptonians. We see more of Krypton and the feud that lead to Zod and Jor-Els falling out. We see that they wont have their powers as soon as they get to earth because their bodies cannot take the intensity of the Sun, thus the suits with the helmets. Other than Zod being the villain and parts of the origin, there isnt much meshing in this movie.
