For those of you who know anything about Blu-ray disc protection, know that it is forever changing and evolving. You can crack one version but there are an infinite number of other versions behind it.
The people have already picked their format! Why do some companies have such a thick head?

Duel Player = Dumb!!!

Sorry, but true!

The HD/Native 1080p Video Games that are currently in Development use up about 25GB of Memory. By the time the HD-DVD XBox comes out, The games will be even larger in Capacity. The games will NOT fit on a blank HD-DVD Disc unless the graphics are compressed. Using anything other than Blu-Ray for HD content is Fruitless. It is the largest form of Media available today. BD/100GB MAX Capacity. HD-DVD/30GB MAX Capacity. HD-DVD makes no sense.

Yes Annie Hall is awesome!!!
Playstation 3 has no problems playing BD+ Layer discs.

A Firmware update is now available for the Samsung BD-P1200 via Ethernet connection.

Also, I timed the load time for this movie on both units and here the results:

The load time for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer on the BD-P1200 came in at a dismal 1 minute 45 seconds.

The load time for F4:Rise on the PS3 was under 10 seconds.

If you're looking to buy a Blue-Ray player, I strongly suggest the Playstation 3 by a wide margin. In order to compete with the other systems on the market, Sony will be selling the Playstation 3 with a copy of Spider-Man 3 for $399. At $399 it is a complete steal.
Superdynamite wrote a comment about the news item HD-DVD Leads Blu-ray Disc Players in Sales
A blank single layer HD-DVD-ROM holds 15 Gigs of information. A blank Blu-ray-ROM hold 25 Gigs of information. Why would I buy a PC/Laptop with an HD-DVD Drive rather than one with a Blu-Ray Drive? That Makes absolutely no sense. People want to store information (Music, pictures, Doc*ments, programs, etc.) on blank discs. The drives will inevitably be able to write. When they do, what person in their right mind would choose the disc with nearly half the space??? If you ask me, The PC/Laptop argument is heavily stacked in Blu-ray's favor. It's simple; 15GB vs. 25GB.
