Well, the first was short too, and ended quick. he fell out of a helicopter... blink... BAM! credits...

this ending was actually longer, because he was on fire then he "died" and then eyes open. you stayed for that, right? because i actually saw a few people leave the theater and they didnt even see Chev open his eyes on the hospital bed!
