wow,cool,sounds extremely interesting..what i fear is that they might change the real actors when they put those charecters together,,i hope they dont do that otherwise it will be a BIG flop.wish they melt all the charecters properly from their original stories

i agree...not all movies are meant for 3D experience. Avatar was an exception. it was made for this..but harry porter,c'mon...that does not make sense..seems like warner bros is going nuts with Avatar's success and think that the only thing made avatar good was because it was in 3D...WRONG...Avatar was different..i still prefer to watch other movies in normal 2D format even if they come out in 3D..
please,doing spoil the fun of 3D,give us something unique once a while,pusshing all the junk in 3D will just make the ongoing interest worst.nothing else.

according to above stats, it seems like the cinemas,Imax helped Avatar to earn more because when a normal movie is playing the cost for tickets is low but when movies which are more demanding come out,the increase the price.I agree with "reallyreally",they should count the number of tickets to determine the winner.
But anyway, Titanic is history,thats Great :D

yes, it was visually awsome,outstading visual effects,story was simple but thats what makes it lovable among all age groups.we like simple ,easy to understand,striaght but full of adventure and interesting movies and that what AVATAR gives.
I am honestly not interested if it over passed TDK because for me TDK is still my most favourite one but i am very happy to see it taking down Titanic :)

i am happy to see that Avatar is doing great, if TDK comes along the way,its ok but it does not mean its better than TDK. mind it all,please.

everything seems so normal and expected but yes, its true,i agree,it is big in numbers but not big in acting..i mean,c'mon,acting in avatar cant compare with the role of joker,we all know it well.even James knows it very well,thats for sure.

Well, after a shock,i feel better now..hmm,i am very nutural when it comes to movies,casts,storylines...etc..
ok,he might not look as strong as Arnold,c'mon guys...i am sure we would all agree that Arnold was famous for this movie because of his past career ,right ? and all those muscularity,correct? but the time has changed,do we care about muscularity now ??what do we care? emotions,realism,acting,performance....i mean, we all know that Arnold was never been a good actor,dont tell me that he was a good actor..!!! so,may be this guy will put some real character in Barbarian...i hope so...director has chosen him,so far what we know..so there must be something about him,right ? lets be just nutural for a while and see how does he do..i mean in Troy,did we need a muscular guy or just someone like Bradd to put life in that character with a non muscular physics...how about in Pirates of Carrabian and more...we cant judge an actor of the whole movie with the main actor's one shot which is not even during filming this movie.
FYI, when AVATAR's first movie poster came out,there were more negative comments than possitive onse and then happened ? :)

I dont care what people say about Avatar,good or bad, all i know it was awsome and i loved it. I enjoyed it a lot,watched it 2ice already and will head for third time soon. who cares what people think..its a great movie for me. i even dont mind sitting in theatre alone watching it all by myself..lolz, but that wont gonna happen :p

well,Avatar is good,really good but TDK,hmmm,come on,TDK has its own class,own standards, numbers does not decide how good was the movie..i mean,do you guys really think that scarface and godfather kindda films did not deserve BIG numbers like these ? I dont think so, its just something that you can not compare movies through numbers only. Yes, if you all are talking about numbers here only,ok,i get your point but if you are comparing movies, you are WRONG. Avatar is NOT the best movie of all times, i can list dozens of GREAT movies which can still be enjoyed and can still shock people with their scripts,acting quality,directing,superb actors ... AVATAR is just something new which people are enjoying just for sometimes. ask your selves, will you watch AVATAR again and again after 10,15 years or still be talking about Godfather sometimes?Think...

well.i guess filmakers will now stop concentrating on the filmaking,storyline,dialougues,new concept but on 3D only..To the dearest filmakers, please,we do like 3D only if it has strong movie behind it.Thanks

people,whats wrong with you? what was so"NO" for avatar in your opinion ? the effects were awsome, never been seen before ,for sure..you cant expect a strong story line from a science fiction movies, come on, i mean,T2,starwars,LOTR.....what was so special and true about those stories ?? all finctional by the end of the day ,correct? its not about story when it comes to sci-fic movies, its all about how they make u feel into them. AVATAR is one of its kind and like it or not, its F...ING proving itself everywhere.Accept it or not, its awsome and its breaking all the ground breaking records in its early stage already. so get over it guys. appreciate the new trend in movie making,this might be a time to have the new ideas,new standards to set,new visions to share....a whole new specitcularly made movie busienss is gonna take a big turn here. whatever it is about AVATAR,but it is providing some new ground rules for sci-fic movies so appreciate it.

AVATAR rules,no matter how was the story, no matter if some critics find their ways to show how pissed off they are since they could not find anything reasonable to criticise ,AVATAR is on top and critics cant kill the fact that people( movie lovers & analysts ) likes it a lot and that can be easily seen through over view reviews.

recently a new planet,just 45 light years away from us has been discovered with one third of it covered in water...IN WATER..wow...for sure there is life there,most probably rich in life,perhaps a whole water world there..its just a matter of time now to get in real glimpse of new species in this whole wide universe,May be we might encounter something more or less like AVATAR..still yet to find more details about this planet. the only problem is that it has very high percentages of gases there and the temperature is very high,about 120oC which make it impossible for any life to exist there..but what the hell, this is what we know according to our knowledge about different speciaes but what if some species do live in boilled waters ? imagine what would they be?how would they be? its just a whole new world to explore.AVATAR rules.
