Well as far as the title...this is probably alluding to the actual event known as "The Battle of Los Angeles" which happened in February 1942 -- Something flew over the city...Anti aircraft artillery fired at it for over an hour and didn't hit anything...Some speculate that what passed over Los Angeles that night was not enemy aircraft but a UFO...

If it were coming out next week and then all of a sudden got moved to 2009 I would be pissed but both dates are a long ways off so no big deal...Seems a better fit for a summer release anyway...
