Little nervous about going forward with TL2 without Cameron but Arnold says in the article that he'd produce. Feel a bit better about that. Obviously, you need Arny and Tom back and I don't see why you don't bring Jamie back, too. True Lies remains one of Schwarzenegger's best movies and one of the best actions movies of all time, period. Well written, hilarious, a move where you actually care about the characters. That combination is tough to achieve once, not so easy the second time around. Cameron has to be involved somehow for it to succeed, IMHO. And, you have to at least have a cameo from Bill Paxton. I mean, c'mom!

Khan is an obvious choice but considering how creative Abrams is, do we need to revisit such a classic role? Montalban was amazing in both the classic TV series and in the movie. Hard to imagine improving on that but, then again, if they can reinvent the entire cast, they can do it with Khan. An easy movie to look forward to.

Many pro sport legends, Hall of Famers, were drunks and wife beaters and yet they are revered to this day. While the media have jumped on Gibson like locusts (I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it) how many others, lesser names, do these programs ignore? Like I said, everyone has the right to avoid Gibson's movies if they wish but people shouldn't get on their high horse and throw stones so quickly, just because it's in vogue to do so. My opinion of Gibson, as a movie actor/producer/director hasn't changed one little bit. I choose to ignore their personal lives. Whether Gibson is an a**hole is of no consequence to me.

Personally, I think just the complete opposite. Samuel Jackson makes almost any movie better. Yes he has been in some weak films but I never get tired of seeing him on screen.

Hate those types of trailers, every single one of them. Gives you zero insight into the movie. Wait until you have actual movie pictures before releasing the trailer. I already knew the movie was in the works.

Well Kaydog, your choice is to keep your money in your pocket and not support Gibson's movies. I don't care how big a prick he is, just whether his movies are entertaining. Are you telling me every star, professional athlete, author, whatever....that you follow is squeaky clean? We want to start judging these people? The line starts long before Mel Gibson. There wouldn't be enough time in the day for these trashy entertainment programs like Entertainment Tonight to talk about the flaws or choices these actors make in life.
Well, that was enlightening (sarcasm).

Always wish Gibson had done a sequel to Maverick, one of my all-time fave Gibson films but LW5 would be OK in my books, too.

Surprised to see so many people crapping on LW4. I thought it was way ahead of the third chapter, if for no other reason than Jet Li provided a better villain than the third one. I'd love to see them bring back most, if not all, the cast for a fifth one. But it starts with Danny and Mel. From all I've read, they have a great idea for a fifth movie, so why the heck not. The LW franchise definitely ranks on my list as one of the better franchises out there. And, as was the case with Tom Cruise, I could care less what personal problems these stars have. Is the movie worth seeing or not is all that matters to me, not whether someone is jumping on Oprah's couch or flapping his gums. Here's a scoop folks, these highly-paid actors are just as flawed and pathetic as the rest of us. Get over it.

The buddy-cop genre hasn't done too well of late but if any movie stands a chance to raking in some dough at the box office it's Lethal Weapon. How much will Gibson's meltdowns hurt? Is his box office career over? Will he suffer the same fate as Tom Cruise? Who knows. I do know Gibson and Glover have incredible chemistry that has worked in all four movies. The villain in LW3 was awful but that's the only weak point I can find in the series. We all know Riggs was one blink away from snapping in the first one, maybe it might be wise to use what Gibson has been going through with his own meltdown. Sort of a parody. And hopefully Pesci is involved, too. Anyway, thumbs up to LW5, if it actually happens.
