Story sounds lame. After the San Diego incident it doesn't seem like InGen would return to Hammond's dream. Not to mention the plot sounds like weak sequel fodder.
Why drop a Yoda movie for a Lego TV Series? Casting will make or break the other two films.

Excellent review @julianleft. Just saw this last night nd am still debating a rating for it. Met expectations from PTA, but this was by far is strangest one yet. And that's always a good thing.

@Zak-Lee-Ferguson: Oh I know you're not hating on him. I just liked him a lot better in the role as nothing in the trailers showcased anything great from Perry besides giving up his comedic shtick for a bit.

OMG!!! Can't believe this. RIP
@Zak-Lee-Ferguson: I really liked "Kiss The Girls" and "Along Came A Spider." The aged Cross was a great role for Morgan Freeman. And this film looked just so-so. Not crazy about Tyler taking over the role. I should really read one of those books. I'm sure they're good reads.

@Zak-Lee-Ferguson: You mean Guy Pearce. Great role.
Cool. Too bad the first one was the only good one.
@mr-k: Absolutely love this movie. Even better than "The Hangover." Great review.

Really eager to get at least a hint of what the story is. Hopefully something more intricate like the first film.

@Zak-Lee-Ferguson: I respect your opinion. And you're absolutely right about what it really is. Bu nevertheless, I loved this movie. Great hones review. I don't think I could've been as impartial about it.
