I'm guessing he will play the retired Nick Fury Sr. In the new comics, black Nick Fury is the son of white Nick Fury.

I would very much enjoy a Shatner cameo in Star Wars... preferably one where he and Carrie Fisher get into an argument.

I have a theory... this is about a "red shirt" coming back to take revenge for all the countless like him who have died in away missions.

@glacia, there's an episode of Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Check out how they handled Rocket Raccoon. He's a little tough guy.

@glacia, not really. Rocket Raccoon is more like Sir Didymus from Labyrinth, or the mice templar, or Usagi Yojimbo. He's a serious character who just happens to be raccoon. In the comics he is a gifted military tactician. He's not meant to be a clown like Jar Jar, or silly comic relief like the Wonder Twins.

What about Kurt Russell, Steven Segal, Christopher Lambert, Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, Carl Weathers and Rutger Hauer?

Galactus, Surfer and Thanos in the same movie? Were one step closer to an Infinity Gauntlet movie.

@justice23, I disagree about Joe Johnston being a period film director. He did both Jumanji and Honey I Shrunk the Kids... he's more than capable of doing an action adventure film set in the present day.

I thought Joe Johnson did a splendid job on the first film. I sincerely hope they bring him back for the sequel.

Three reasons why this story is fake:
1. The GB3 script was sent to Murray by Ivan Reitman, not Aykroyd and Ramis. If he was going to return it, it would be to Reitman -- who he has a lot of respect for.
2. Murray's friendship for Aykroyd goes beyond Ghostbusters. He would never do anything this blatant to such a close friend. Murray may be unpredictable, but not hurtful.
3. This story, if you do your research, was first reported by the National Enquirer.
