The only thing that outshines Jessica Biel's spunk is her total incapacity for convincing performances (well except for rolling around the pole in Powder Blue, which I thought was ok apart from her acting).
Her physical performances are great but her dialogue delivery is just hideous and some serious acting lessons (and life lessons) are definitely in order. You can't get better at anything without some experience, good and bad.
Having said that, she's just gorgeous and would be a great call to be in a film of this type. I mean, if the rest of the super-hero, robots and alien dribble that's being served up to us (Batman Begins not included) is any indication, then what does it really matter. There's nothing of substance going on anyway.

Michael Bay can eat sh*t and die. What a over rated piece of turd. And that FKN guy! Everytime I see that Eminem clip with the wood chipper, I image he's putting that FKN loser in it! FK this film, and Michael Bay can eat sh*t and die. I leave this one to the mindless minions.

The wire work is a little off and that creature whatever it was meant to be is stupid.... but, the camera work is nice and the hero and villain are pretty. All good for this type of film I'd say. What's with the white chick tagging along though... fk off Hollywood!

I'm very interested in seeing if they can make this heaps heaps heaps more interesting (story - wise) than the incredibly boring animated version. It was very pretty but I actually nodded off I was that unimpressed.

This is probably one of the best looking films, in the genre, I have seen. I agree with this review in all apects (1-2). The Necromongers should have had some sort of bloodlust, like viking berserkers. It would have been more fun. I've seen this a few times and can't find an ugly frame in the entire film... so I give it way high marks for that. The acting isn't great, but then neither is the story. I thought Diesel was pretty good though, and aside from Pitch Black, I'm not a fan.

Yep all good comments. I know these two, and used to work with Leigh and his acting style is his real life style as well, so it was a hard watch for me. Not bad for two guys from Melbourne, though. You nailed Cary Elwes too. Man, what a bad performance. Not a bad flick made with a minimal budget.
