Given the success of Matt Damon in his role as Jason Bourne in the Bourne series of movies to date and the fact that his persona exemplifies the character set of Jason Bourne, I believe that this new movie (Bourne Legacy) should be boycotted. Although I have nothing against the main character (Renner), this film will not help to carry forward the Bourne epic and should not have been produced. With the release of this film something has been lost in the Bourne saga. I will continue to be hopeful that Matt Damon will return in a future Bourne movie and then the legacy will truly continue at that point in time.
