Thanks for that link! I stopped checking in with 'Cloverfield Clues' and other Clover sites. I *never* would've spotted that Tagruato logo on my own. It's just subtle enough to not pull my mind out of the Trek story. One thing that still bugs me is the giant Coca-Cola sign in Bladerunner, even though it's perfectly fitting for it to be there.

CloverTrek? Tagruato Corp in the Trek trailer? I can deal with Slusho cropping up all over the place, but this may be pushing it. Now I'm gonna have to frame by frame the trailer looking for it. /sigh/

JJ is an impressive creator, no doubt. I hope he doesn't pull an M. Night and lose his touch any time soon. Did you notice the vague similarity of the monster in the Trek trailer to "Clover"? Skinny, fast, ferocious, too many joints and mouth parts, definitely scary. I'm looking forward to that part of the Trek movie because it's the first time we get to see any kind of REAL monster in Trek since, probably, that white unicorn-ape, the Mugato in the original series, and that was a dude in a monkey suit. It's about time we get to see some real alien monster throwdown in Trek. The "Enterprise" versions of the Gorn were really, really bad. I liked the Sleestak version. Which reminds me... I'm looking forward to that "Land of the Lost" movie with Will Ferrell... any thoughts on it?

I like all your JJ Abrams and Cloverfield stuff. I was obsessed with Cloverfield before it came out, then I didn't get to see it until it was on DVD! Honestly, once I missed the 1-18-08 premiere, it didn't bother me to wait for the DVD. C'est la vie. Thanks for the add.
