Another remake that should not be touched. Why not make a remake of Alien while you're at it....

I remember watching this when I was a kid and there were commercials interrupting so I know it was made for TV, but here goes...
An elder orphan boy who has finally grown up tries to find his brother and sister. I remember the social worker being a real b*tch saying she could not help locate them until he turned 18. Now that he's 18, he tries to find them himself. The social worker says that most of the orphanage paperwork was lost in a fire. Years pass and the same social worker finally helps him. There's an early scene when his brother and sister were taken away in the back of a car while he tries chasing it down. He use to feed them cereal using milk stolen from neighbors, raising them on his own as the elder. When he finally finds his brother (now an adult), his brother was working in an auto parts store. When they both find their sister (now an adult), she was in the airport. All three hug each other with tears... Any help please, would like to watch it again..... |

Show was set back in the early 80s possibly late 70s
About a kid who had a whistle. Whenever he was in trouble, he would blow it depending on the outcomes of his troubles. If he blew the whistle one time: a fairy would appear to help him. If he blew the whistle two times: a midsize tin-man would appear to help him. If he blew the whistle three times: a giant gold rocket man would appear to help him. I remember their enemy looked like the count from the muppets. His enemy had fighters that helped him (dressed in black spandix from head-to-toe) Whenever the fighters were killed, they never showed them being killed but lava/blood flowing from the terrain. Any help is appreciated. |

I saw this one when I was kid and still could not find the name of the movie:
Plot: A little girl visits her grandmother and plays in her backyard. She wonders into the woods in the back and becomes animated. She meets up with a owl as she tries to find her way back to her grandmothers. I remember the owl telling her if she needed water, just to scratch the ground and water would appear. There were other animals out there too to get her and she was saved by a kangaroo. I remember towards the end, the kangaroo makes a giant leap (with the little girl in her pouch) across two cliffs. The kangaroo becomes wounded but the little girl still manages to get home to her grandmothers with the help from the owl. The animation stops as she is now converted into a live person as soon as she reached the backyard of her grandmother's house. Any help please. |

Sorry for the late notice...meeting deadlines at work...
Those are my fav. dvds and to answer your question, the movie memorabilia I cherish the most is mostly all my movie posters (favorite ones are authentic/original movie posters for Mommie Dearest, Fire Starter, Porky's, Red Dawn, Goodfellas) all in frames. Have all the trilogies (LOTR Pt1-3, Matrix 1-3, SW:Epis 1-3) I also have Linda Blair's autograph on The Exorcist movie poster re-issue; and I recognized Heather Donahue while shopping that I had a friend keep an eye on her so I can get the poster to sign- she did- on The Blair Witch Project. |

Oh pleeze, another 80s animated coming to the big screen. Hollywood is running out of ideas. What's next....The Littles, Where's Waldo?, The Smurfs.
Marvel is also running out of action heroes too... Get real! |

You know all shocking endings? Ok, a while ago I saw WRONG TURN (Part One), but I missed the ending. Now, exactly what happens? I saw up to the part where the 2, one girl and one guy, face the cannibols, but i don't know what happens to them.

Great movie and when I first saw it. I kept getting interrupted with cellphone ringing, someone knocking on door, drama outside with neighbors, my kitty cat getting the crazies....LOL
My favorite scene has always been with Noah riding the boat with her with all the swans swimming around. |

Been browsing here for the last couple weeks so I might as well introduce myself.
M/33/AZ Been in the movie theatre industry for 17 years so I guess you can say I am a movie-buff: collecting posters, trailers, and 35mm projector parts (storage getting full-- need bigger one!!) Seen a lot in my time but my favorites have always been dramas instead of the action flix. If its up for an Oscar, then I've seen it. However, there are a few that I have missed but if it's worth my time I'll download/rent it. Fav. movies: Looking For Mr. Goodbar, Foxes (starring Jodie Foster), Momento, Amores Perros |

1. The first film you're guessing could be Terms of Endearment (1983). Starring Shirley McClaine, Debra Winger, and Jack Nicholson. I could be wrong but your synopsis comes close to it.
2. The second movie you're guessing could be A Star Is Born (1976). A re-make of the 1956 version. This 1976 version stars Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Kris rides his bike on stage and trips. I could be wrong but your synopsis comes close to it. |
