Right on bub. So hows the summer been treating you? I actualy found it to be full of dissapointments with such Lacklusters like Wolverine and Terminator. its a pretty sad summer when the you say that the best blockbuster youve seen all year is Harry Potter hahahahaha although the Hangover was awsome.

This might go wayyyyy off the traditional Dark Shadows with Burton directing. But, Depp as Collins could be very interesting.

Peaches, everyone is dumber for having read that comment.

Fringe was one of those shows where it took a while to get going. But once it did, it's addictive with great dialogue. Walter is a classic character, and the mysteries are similar to X files, but a bit more dark. And at least Fringe is developing the story at a better pace with the "conspiracies". X-Files, still never had an official wrap up. And a huge piece of sh*t last movie was pointless.
Ummmmm ..... WTF ?
The only reason anyone with a brain should enjoy TF Michael Bay movies, is because of their biased love for the TF's. That's the only reason I can sit thru these films. Action and effects are great, but I can't stand a movie with no substance or no real character development. TF has every opportunity to be big and bad and GOOD. Bay makes them painful to watch again sometimes.

sup bub thanks for the request. what's your story?
And R rating won't keep away the teens and kids nowadays. I'm traditional !! lol. Release Halloween on Halloween damnit.
Considering this movie will make money in Week one only and then fade away..........Why not just release this on Halloween ? All the kids and everyone would line up to see it and it would be #1 for that release date alone. I don't get releasing it in August, just like the first one. Too much competition.
I hope this movie turns out ok. I think it looks nothing like GIJOE from the previews. Destro better end up with a chrome mask, and Cobra Commander better at least have his hood......... Because the good guys look lame so far.

Newkill, I just want to say your posts crack me up. Don't get me wrong, you definetly know your movie stuff. But your insults are priceless. hahaha
Well, I don't think I like saying this, but Michael Bay's style is perfect for TF. Minus his lame humor, the effects, explosions and action are his game. I personally am not a fan of his other movies, but he didn't do too badly with this franchise ....... but I wouldn't mind giving another director a chance to make TF3.
schlike22 wrote a comment about the news item Michael Sheen in Talks to Play Bond 23 Villain?
I hope there is a loophole and there is some truth to this rumor. The whole premise of the last 2 Bond Films has it leading up to "the ultimate bad guy" and their version of SPECTRE is QUANTUM now. Let's see where this leads, but I have to think Newkill is right. If Blofeld could be used, it would be announced on the James Bond site. So this might not hold water..............

Hmmmm.

McClory subsequently continued to try to make other adaptations of Thunderball, including most famously a project called Warhead 2000 A.D. that was to be made by Sony with Timothy Dalton in the lead role. Once again, McClory's hold on the Thunderball film rights came into question and the project was eventually scrapped in 1999 after Sony settled out of court with MGM/UA, ceding any rights to making a James Bond film. In 2004 Sony acquired 20% of MGM; however, the production and final say over everything involving the film version of James Bond is controlled by EON Productions, Albert R. Broccoli's production company and its parent company Danjaq, LLC.

Prior to Sony's settlement with MGM in 1999, they filed a lawsuit against MGM claiming McClory was the co-author of the cinematic 007 and was owed fees from Danjaq and MGM for all past films. This lawsuit was thrown out in 2000 on the ground that McClory had waited too long to bring his claims. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals later affirmed this decision in 2001.

Nevermind, he is dead . And recently too . I wonder if this plays a part in the "legal right" situation now.

Yeah, McClory doesn't sound like he is going to ever kiss and make up, unless maybe they throw a ton of cash at him. Which .........they might just do ? The 2 new bond films made a ton. How old is he anyway ? He's got to be up there in age.

I did some websearches, and can't find a thing about what I heard. Only thing they "might" do, is not say him by name. They did it in Never Say Never Again and For Your Eyes Only ? It would be cheesy to do that in the Craig films though. Those films have a darker tone......... still interesting. This rumor is all over the place.
This is AWESOME. Now I just need to find 145.00 bucks to spend on this .
