Hmmm... CBF, that this show takes place outside the film universe is entirely your opinion. It's one you're welcome to have, but remember that for folks who watch the films and don't read ancillary materials, there's nothing in Episode III that prevents Anakin from having had a padawan during the Clone Wars. We simply don't know what became of her. The "canon" of Star Wars is constantly adapting to what Lucas does with his films (and now this series) and Ahsoka's status will be no different than that of Boba Fett, who's story was told multiple times before being ret-conned to fit what Lucas gave us in Episode II. But the notion that this series is not connected to the film universe is just something a handful of fans who can't handle the clashing info say in order to make it all make sense in their heads. A fan could just as easily say that any other source that dates Anakin's knighthood or denies his padawan isn't part of "the film universe." This just leads to people picking and choosing whatever the heck they like to be true. Which is fine if that floats your boat, but mark my words when all is said and done Anakin will have had a padawan. Not an opinion... just the way Lucasfilm is laying down the law.
