I wonder where they will begin? Some of them are a lttle dated in terms of world view, enoyable though all the same. Will they pick some of the stories that span more than one book, or stick with a stand alone. I would have thought it would be kind of cool to do Lotus, Cigars of the Pharaoh and then move on to some of the others so that Captain Haddock's character can be introduced to the story properly. But I can see some mileage in some of the stand alones as well, and maybe lotus and cigars are a little political, and heavy as starting points, who knows?

I'm not sure that your college is helping you very much by giving you this title. What exactly does the question mean. Are they asking you whether films are responsible for reconstructing the idea of gender differentials, or that gender is a differential that films are responsible for implementing.
"Gender is a construction in film" is snappy, but it is very slack for an essay question.

It sounds like the song Red Bachetta by Rush, a canadian rock band, but I don't know about the film

It is called Escape from New York, it also stars Kurt Russell as Snake Pliskett, Lee van Cleef and Harry Dean Stanton. They made a part two called escape to New York many years later, but it wasn't nearly as good.
