that is the best look for catwoman yet. especially the mask.

been silent on here a while, though reading the articles and comments. couldn't keep quite on this one, though.
1. let me get this straight. they plan to save money/make more money by spending more money to convert it to 3D AND reshoot the movie (essentially) by adding more tatum?!?! if he dies at the beginning/middle of this, then they will have to reshoot a lot to add him back in (unless they killed him off at the end and decided to bring him back for more sequels).
2. WHY MORE TATUM?!?!?! they should have made this movie a clean sweep and replaced him too!
3. fear of not being able to compete i understand. but WHY push it back almost a year?!?! why not to the fall or late summer?

went from being stoked about this movie to filled with doubt. whatever changes they are making better be more than a gimic b/c any excitement/momentum/confidence they built through trailers was squashed by this knuckleheaded move.

another classic sorkin. can't wait!

i think the backlash comes mainly from the stooges being made into a full length movie. their classic stuff was normally made as shorts, not movies. the gags are great for a short, but could easily grow tiresome in a full movie (much like most of the SNL movies).
as an aside, i think these three are fantastic stooges (from what i can see in the trailer). not completely sold on hayes as larry, but aside from that they seem to be doing a fantastic job as the stooges and should be given some credit.

i'm more worried about this project being on CW. outside of some shows with small cult-like followings (compared to millions on other networks) it really hasn't produced anything substantial. additionally, CW doesn't really spend much (or at least spend the money in the right areas) on effects and they come off as highly lame (ala syfy network).

wasn't too thrilled when trailer started, but i liked the humorous twist. effects were lame and still too much of a typical burton feel to it, but its different. may watch this on bluray.

this had a minor cult-like following of kids and some parents in the 80's. most parents, however, were revolted by them and didn't support the movie (though the cards did have a pretty good market).
now those kids are grown up and despite finding them funny as kids, would probably not take their own kids to see a movie about them for the same reason their parents wouldn't. lol
as for me - i thought the cards were funny (and gross), thought the movie was terrible (minus a couple parts) and have ZERO intention of letting my kids have the cards or go to the movie.

looks.... decent. maybe on bluray. i like this cast and look forward to seeing if they mesh as well in the movie as they do the trailer. biggest worry is it looks like it may fall into the proverbial indie cliche - move at a snails pace and bore your audience to tears before you actually care about the characters.

@m2 i'm with you, though he and the guy from Lost were the only watchable parts of Mr S. looking forward to this. would love to watch MP again on tv.

@moviemaniack1993 my thoughts exactly. wish he'd learn how to speak his goofy dialogue without that goofy Billy Madison shtick all the time, but outside of that, this looks like a good comeback flick for him. nice to see samberg trying to play it straight too. funny to see vanilla ice in it, as well. wonder if it's a cameo or small character role? we'll see...
