The story about the doll at the beginning of the movie was the best part so I'm glad they're making this lol
The idea of Hulk being scared of Banner is interesting. Hulk has always "hated" Banner. That "hate" may just be fear. It's an interesting complex that should totally be explored. It would be Marvel's first action/psychological film.
'Batman and Robin' is the most iconic duo when it comes to comics. I would love to see an edgy/modern take on the boy wonder. Batman hasn't been "solo" in the comics for several years. He's more interesting with a team too (Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, etc.)

As Kevin Smith suggested... this isn't a direct sequel to Man of Steel. This film is a combination of Superman's and Batman's "worlds" and prequel to Justice League.
So... are Wolverine and Sabretooth brothers?

The script may change to accommodate what Marvel is looking for. With Ant-Man, I doubt we'll ever see him beat his wife Janet just how we'll never see Iron Man become an alcoholic. A director wants to feel like they have complete control, but Marvel has the last word here and I don't mind.

I'm sure these guys have "legitimate" reasons for walking out on Marvel, but really guys... their building a franchise here. They want a certain look/feel so everything fall's in line. Everything they do has to mesh with the other films in order to lead to the grand finale: future Avengers films.
@ObiWanShinobi well I do. Besides, the actor they have (Charlie Cox) to play Murdock/Daredevil doesn't give off the "Daredevil vibe". I guess we'll see.
Really would've liked it to be a television series to rival DC's Arrow. Oh well.
@OliverQueen lol they've announced the villain for quite some time now. The next film is called X-Men: Apocalypse. The end credit scene is even on Youtube. It's not really a secret or even so much a spoiler.
@ObiWanShinobi I can't deny that I would love to see Archangel, Mister Sinister, Mikhail, and Holocaust on the big screen. Let's hope that they don't take the easy route, but instead introduce these guys. Since the timeline has been given a "rebirth", I wouldn't mind if they reused Angel for the 80s and forget that he was ever in X3.
@corey and oh yeah, he's immortal. In the comics, he's locked away in something called the Lazarus Chamber which is why he doesn't become a threat until so many years later... until someone unleashes him anyway.
I have to agree with @shuabert on this one. I understand what you're saying @ObiWanShinobi , but I think this film will use more well-known characters like X-Men: Evolution did in its final season. I wouldn't be surprised if Havok, Magneto, Wovlerine, or any other major X-Men characters end up being Apocalypse's four horsemen. They always change anyway.

I doubt they'll use the original four horsemen. It would be more exciting to see comic book favorites as horsemen anyway.
From what I read, these are "Justice League oriented" movies. They're intended to tell the story of the DC Universe rather than just a single character.

So what does this mean? Expect a lot of cameos and team-ups. They're not going to ignore the fact that other heroes live in the same or neighboring cities and may show up in each other's films, which is cool. They're thinking on a larger scale.
@undeadslayer4 yes and no. Apocalypse, believing he is the "God of mutants", does have 4 horsemen of his own that follow his every command. He even had a "church" of followers at some point. So I guess you can say Apocalypse takes idea from Revelations.
@corey Well, here we go... this contains spoilers if you haven't seen Days of Future Past

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!

Apocalypse was born in Ancient Egypt (which is why he's in Egypt building the pyramids in the post credits scene). He is the first mutant born on Earth and is X-Men's biggest threat. The guy is pretty much a mutant powerhouse.
I like this technique. It's not a Superman franchise or Batman franchise. It's a DC Universe franchise. It's telling the story of the DC Universe leading to them forming a team known as the Justice League. I like it!
@ObiWanShinobi Agreed! I couldn't believe what I just read. The X-Men should be a team movie. This "Wolverine-centric" nonsense is so stupid!
SPOILER ALERT!
SPOILER ALERT!

So... if everyone is safe in the future, Apocalypse must not have been that much of a threat in the 1980s -_- it's not like the X-Men's lives are at stake. It's not as cool when you know Apocalypse isn't going to really change much...
This film is doing what the animated series (the one from the 90s) did when Batman and Superman had a crossover. The crossover took place during Superman: The Animated Series. It was Superman's show, but Batman was featured just as much as Superman in that story line. This is a sequel to the Man of Steel, but they're both the stars in this film and there's nothing wrong with that.
