@justice23, why would you be watching "Meet the Spartans" to begin with? At some point, you saw a trailer of that garbage, and the thought actually entered into your mind that this would be a quality film worth investing $9.00 in? You deserve everything you got. I hope they refused a refund, stating instead that you should have known better. It may be a good idea to keep those mistakes to yourself.

Did any one buy the production diaries in king kong because in teh second disc on the the diaries says that there will be a kong 2 & 3 coming out this year, I know you think it's impossible but they had some one from Universal talk about it, and Niomi watts and Jack Black said they were coming back 2 months after the shooting of the King Kong to do the sequels. if anyone else has heard any thing about this tell me?

Hey, sport. The Hulk made over 60 million its first weekend and ended with a disappointing 130 million. That was my prediction for this film...at the most 150. Thats not what is wanted by those involved. The director and actors were all talking about how it would crush War of the Worlds, so they have high expectations.

Not yet, but I want to. I'm not huge into science fiction by any stretch of the imagination, but I want to knock off the big ones. I did enjoy Ender's game and its sequel quite a bit and Dune was great as well.

After I finish (and start) this John Irving novel, I'll try and go through the first one and let you know my thoughts.

I can already expect that you're spreading the word around you that the movie will be whack cuz some reporters claiming themselevs to be critics with different tastes and opinions as yours said that the movie looked abysal. That's just great to see people basing and modeling teir judgment on some pointless reviews. As I've said before, the only good cinema critic is yourself. Go see the movie and make your own idea about it.

The trailer really interested me and gave me the incentive to go see it....

Note my criticisms before these reviews came out. I already had my preditctions, seeing this just kind of validated them to a minimal extent. So, suck it, yo!

I can't see how anyone would think this would flop. Say that it will be a bad movie and then you may have a point, but SO MANY different groups will go see this. IT WILL NOT FLOP.

1. Kids will want to see it, those kids will take their parents.
2. Teens and adults who want to see if Tim Burton ruins it or not will undoubtedly be there.
3. Idiotic goths who think Tim Buton's films 'r soo gothic, Nightmare Before Christmas was killer' will be there.
4. Teeny bopper, girly, Johnny Depp fans.
5. The die hard Tim Burton fans that would never miss one of his movies.

Beyond anything a re-make of this level will attract a lot of curosity. Same with King Kong.

I'm not saying it won't make any money, but I am talking a flop like "The Hulk" was considered a "flop." Just as I think will be the case with "Fantastic Four." They will haul in their $100 million, but it's not what the studios are expecting, though they will act thrilled. My prediction anywho. The movie will probably do better on DVD.

This movie will fall flat on its face. I cannot remember another time I so greatly had hopes for a film only to see the trailer and realize what junk it was going to be. If it truly came down between Depp and Keaton, as I have read, Burton is a fool.
