I think my name says all I need to say on the subject.

5-7 years seems like a good time frame for a Superman/Batman live action movie or a JLA movie.

I love that there wasn't a single new scene and yet I feel that I was completely teased. Nicely done CW, nicely done.

Nick Fury is a middle aged white guy in most depictions, but we have Samuel L Jackson playing him. I like most am waiting for the Loki casting news, assuming he's in this movie.
Again with the bring Batman on Smallville. I seriously doubt that if it could have been done by now, in the ninth season, they would have. The legal mess that is between them ever appearing on Smallville is the only thing that keeps them from doing it. I bet they even have a written in the hopes a deal can be made to do it.

Origins was exactly what we thought it would be: an introduction for the uninitiated. On the same token it had multiple plot points and characters that linked it to the X-Men franchise. As for the story of Wolverine 2, i'm really liking this idea.

I'd kill off Parkman too. Peter, Sylar, Hiro and HRG are my only untouchables. It'd be ironic if Hiro ends up killing Ando though (by accident).

The Incredible Hulk was a good movie, and I can't say Edward Norton is anything below one of the top ten actors of his generation, but I fully support not having Banner/ The Hulk in any non-Hulk or Avenger movie from now until The Avengers is made. My reasoning being that with the Thor and Cap movies you really need to focus all of the story on these two characters, and not a throw in Marvel allie/enemy.

So kingbrady you're saying Peter has always had his empathy since he took the formula at Pinehearst, but hasn't been able to access it properly as he did before? That's basically what Sylar's problem was as well. I concur with this. I think so far the show is definately going in a new old direction. The parts with the new characters seem intriguing, as I want to know how HRG and the company fit into their past.
Portfan wrote a comment about the news item Leonard Nimoy Returns to Fringe
This show has the potential to transform the scifi genre the way Star Trek did. It has a freshness of character and story I haven't seen in ages. Being a part of both must be a great thrill for Mr. Nimoy.
Portfan wrote a comment about the news item Hugh Jackman Talks X-Men Origins: Wolverine Sequel
I'd like to see a Wolverine movie that sets up an X-Men 4 movie somehow. Admittedly I don't know very much of his storylines, but there must be one or two that could be used.
Portfan wrote a comment about the news item Lauren Shuler Donner Talks More X-Men Films
I think they left a very logical and not artificial jump point to an X4 movie. If you think back to X3 and the supposed deaths and power losses, all can be exlained away for a return. As said, we never see Cyclops die, Jean may not have died at all, Xavier put himself into another body (a twin?) and as for the supposed cure, if it didn't work on Magneto we can assume it won't take on the others as well. So now we have a starting point for the next chapter. As for what the story is, that's up to whoever writes it.
This looks like it could be the best season yet. The places this show can go are mind boggling.

The best part is the waiting. It gives the premiere all of the anticipation I need.
Portfan wrote a comment about the news item Hiroyuki Sanada Heads to Lost
This premise assumes that they never crash, and then this character seeks out Locke (still in a wheelchair) to come be the caretaker. How would Locke remember an island he's never been to? Why Jack et al go "back" to an island they've never been to.
This really reminds me of 10,000 BC. The themes it seems to share anyway.
