I have plenty of logic in my reasoning, that i don't need to explain here and I love Christopher Nolan's batman movies not the others batman movies, I'm not a die hard DC fan or Marvel fan and wouldn't even come close to calling myself a DC fanboy, I just love movies full stop and anticipate Nolans movies. And I especially don't care how much money either of them make, some of the best movies ever made have made no where near the amount that the dark knight made or the avengers well make. I don't care about any percentages of fanboys, or what movie has better marketing or any of that crap. I just want to enjoy the movies i see. Its a matter of OPINION.

I now realise that I was much too harsh. The Avengers was a really entertaining movie and it gave fans of the marvel universe everything they would want and more, but I just love Nolan's movies too much and like you said they shouldn't be compared. Being realistic and more serious isn't a reason for being better, but having a more in depth story and a more engaging film is. Sorry if what i said was to harsh, but i still believe in what i said.

The avengers is a movie with pointless action and a boring story to go along with it, everything relies on the end scene and even that can't help it, yeah the hulk is good but thats it. You probably could call it the best comic book movie because batman begins, the dark knight are so much more than comic book movies, there realistic, drama, action movies with engaging stories and shouldn't even be compared to the avengers. The avengers is just an excuse to round up a group of marvel superheroes and blow up sh*t and yeah it well make a lot of money but only because its a brainless action movie that tries to be more than that, but it isn't. All those people that see the Avengers well most likely love it because its a easy watch where they can see all their favourite superheroes battle it out, but thats all it is, nothing else. I know I seem really harsh and don't get me wrong the avengers was a pretty entertaining movie but when I left the cinema all I could think of was that I can't wait until the Dark Knight Rises comes out. The Dark knight rises well be a billion times better than the avengers and you know why... one word... Nolan.

do really think they're going to give away all the little details that are going to actually make this movie interesting. Nolan said he came up with a story idea that hadn't been done before so.... in Nolan we trust.
