Personally, I've been waiting for YEARS for a remake of this movie and I'm glad that someone finally got around to doing it. Like some of the rest of you, I have a hard time picturing Keaneau as Klatuu, but my main desire is to see them do a super bad-ass Gort, one that can really make you believe that the robots can vaporize n entire planet - no guys in rubber suits like in the first one - and I think with today's CGI technology. that's certainly possible.

Now, if someone will just do a really good remake of 'Forbidden Planet', I'll be in Sci-Fi heaven! LOL!

I'm curious as to how they are going to bring Xavier, Cyclops and Jean Grey back, since they all got killed off in Last Stand; seeing as Patrick Stewart has expressed interest in doing a fourth film, I would hope this is a possibility because I just HATE it when they kill major characters off in movies. Hasn't anyone ever heard of a HAPPY ending?
